“I know this was your first time in Japan, but I hope you will remember what you saw, heard and felt during your time here, and make the most of it in your future. OMU and the University of Le Havre have a long history of academic exchanges, and I hope we can continue to build on this good relationship,” said Dean Kobayashi
The exchange students shared detailed accounts of their time in Japan in an interactive session with the professors. They reminisced over the different cities they traveled to, the Japanese cuisine and culture they had experienced often citing the similarities and differences between Japan and France. Above all, the students thanked their host families, friends, and OMU faculty members for making their stay in Japan enjoyable and promised to apply what they learned in Japan when they returned to France.
