Morinomiya Campus (scheduled to open in 2025)

In the fall of 2025, Osaka Metropolitan University will open a brand-new campus in Morinomiya, just a short walk from Morinomiya Station. Morinomiya is an important eastern hub along Osaka's east-west axis, with excellent accessibility, and it's an ideal location for the campus's Forest of Knowledge concept.

[Important Notice] Morinomiya Campus opening is rescheduled (December 16, 2022)

Osaka Metropolitan University’s Morinomiya Campus, which has been under construction with the goal of opening in April 2025, was unexpectedly found to contain buried cultural properties, and other objects, including unexploded ordnance. Therefore, the opening of the campus was postponed by 6 months to the second half of 2025.
