Due to the forecasted approach of Typhoon No. 7, the intensive lectures and supplementary examinations scheduled for August 15 and 16 will be handled as follows:

1. Intensive Lectures and Supplementary Examinations

・ August 15 (Tuesday)

Intensive lectures: Cancelled on all campuses
Supplementary examinations: Postponed on all campuses

*Please follow the separate instructions from the class instructor or other relevant personnel regarding the rescheduling of these lectures and examinations.

・August 16 (Wednesday)

Classes and supplementary examinations will be handled as outlined in the class cancellation policy.

In the event that classes are not cancelled, if you are unable to attend classes due to any of the following circumstances in your area of residence or commuting routes (including cases where there is a risk of difficulty in returning home), please submit a notice of absence to the class instructor and request that the absence be considered at a later date.

1．If an earthquake with seismic intensity of 5-upper or higher is observed in the area that includes  the place of residence

2．Evacuation orders are issued for the area that includes the place of residence

3．A weather warning (storm, snow storm, or emergency warning) is issued for the area that includes the place of residence

4．The occurrence of other disasters similar to the three events listed above in the area that includes the place of residence or areas on the route to and from the university

5. Suspension or significant delay of transportation services on the route to and from the university

2. Club Activities

Activities will be suspended on August 15, and activities on August 16 will be handled as outlined in the class cancellation policy.

3. Certificate Issue

All automatic certificate machines and counters on campus will be closed on August 15 and 16.
