There was an accident (a laboratory apparatus exploded) in a laboratory on the afternoon of December 19, 2024.

Currently, an internal investigation into the cause of the accident is being conducted. There was no leakage of hazardous substances to areas neighboring the university. (On the same day as the accident, OMU made the necessary reports to the police and fire department within the jurisdiction.)

We deeply apologize to everyone involved for the great concern this has caused.
