Q&A session about life and research activities in Japan
The orientation was held for foreign postdoctoral fellows, who have recently entered Japan to conduct research. Professor Goto spoke humorously about Japanese research culture, using examples from his own field (entomology). He noted things to keep in mind as a researcher, as well as points to remember while doing science in Japan. Following his talk, the floor was opened to the audience of approximately 50 postdoctoral fellows, for a lively question-and-answer session.
