Graduation and Degree Conferral Ceremony for the Class of 2022
On Friday, March 24, 2023, the “Graduation and Degree Conferral Ceremony for the Class of the 2022 Academic Year” was held at U-hall Shirasagi on Nakamozu Campus, followed by separate degree conferment ceremonies for each faculty and graduate school.
The ceremony was held with a minimum number of people to prevent the spread of coronavirus and simultaneously live-streamed. With the Vice Presidents, the Deans of the Graduate Schools, and professors in attendance and participating online, President Masahiro Tatsumisago conferred a degree on each graduate and alumni who attended the ceremony.
Osaka Prefecture University
A total of 2,103 students received degrees: 1,351 bachelor’s degrees, 710 master’s degrees, 42 doctoral degrees.
Osaka City University
A total of 2,057 students received degrees: 1,451 bachelor’s degrees, 522 master’s degrees, 77 doctoral degrees, 7 juris doctoral degrees.
Osaka Metropolitan University
3 master’s degrees, 9 doctoral degrees (by thesis only)
