Cancellation of classes and postponement of scheduled examinations due to severe weather conditions, suspension of public transportation services, etc.

1. Cancellation of classes due to severe weather conditions

When a storm warning or emergency warning has been issued for any one of the following cities: Osaka City, Sakai City, Habikino City, or Izumisano City, or the area including one of those cities, all classes (including scheduled examinations) will be canceled as a general rule. However, classes will be held in whole or in part depending on the time the warning is lifted as shown in the tables below on this page: Table [A], [B], [C], and [D].

As a general rule, if a storm warning or emergency warning is issued when classes or examinations are in session, those already in progress will continue as scheduled, and other classes will be canceled from the next period.

In addition, off-campus practical training classes, etc., may be canceled at the discretion of the instructor in charge, based on the above-mentioned matters. (Practical training will not be conducted when a storm warning or emergency warning has been issued for the area where it is scheduled to take place.) Please note that the cancellation of classes due to severe weather conditions applies only to face-to-face classes, not to remote classes.

Note: Notwithstanding the above, when a storm warning, emergency warning, or evacuation advisory is issued for your area of residence, please act with your safety as the top priority.

2. Cancellation of classes due to suspension of public transportation services

Classes (including scheduled examinations) will be canceled in principle when any of the following transportation services are suspended (except for temporary suspension due to accidents, etc.). However, classes will be held in whole or in part depending on the time services resume as shown in the tables below on this page: Table [A], [B], [C], and [D]. Note that the cancellation of classes due to suspension of public transportation is only applicable to face-to-face classes, and not to remote classes.
