On March 27, 2023, Osaka Metropolitan University certified LOGIGLISH Inc., a student venture founded in OMU.

LOGIGLISH Inc. was founded on February 1, 2023, by Kaho Fujikawa, the current president and a second-year student at the School of Economics at Osaka City University.  In line with the SDGs, the company aims to contribute to not only education in Japan, but also well-being in developing countries, by providing job opportunities to English instructors. It has an ambition to incorporate a wide range of the latest academic theories and technologies in fields such as economics and linguistics for its business practice.

“Congratulations are in order for the establishment of LOGIGLISH Inc. I am very happy to see an undergraduate entrepreneur founded the first certified student venture in OMU. This is a comprehensive university that supports student ventures in all fields not only scientific research based ventures, but also those in liberal artssuch as LOGIGLISH Inc.” said the Vice President for Industry-Academia-Government Collaborative Creation and Intellectual Property. “Just as Ms. Fujikawa herself said, `I hope to be a role model for those who aspire to start their own businesses one day,’ I hope that Ms. Fujikawa will contribute to the international community by combining her knowledge from her studies at the School of Economics and the practical work in her venture company and that she will be a top contender in student venture businesses.”
