Special lecture: Minimal Synthetic Bacteria by J. Craig Venter Institute

The J. Craig Venter Institute in the U.S., known for human genome research, has made outstanding achievements in the field of synthetic biology, including chemical synthesis, replacement, and computer design of genomic DNA, with the aim of understanding human life. In particular, the minimal synthetic bacteria syn3.0, released in 2016, made a great impact on the world.
Professor Glass, the Synthetic Biology Team Leader, will be giving a special lecture on the history and future of his research to students and the general public.
