Professor Kise serves as panelist, speaker at German networking event in Osaka
Graduate School of Informatics Professor Koichi Kise was a featured speaker and panelist at the German Economic Roundtable Osaka held in Chuo Ward on October 29, 2024.
The networking event—hosted by the Consulate-General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Osaka-Kobe, the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Japan (AHK Japan), and the Japanese-German Business Association (DJW)—focused on the theme “Digital education and leadership in a changing society.”
The current state of digital education in both countries was highlighted, and discussions were held on how countries and companies can overcome the challenges of digital transformation.
Joining Professor Kise as speakers were Nora Sar, manager of training planning and management at FUSO Academy, and Mayor Ryosuke Takashima of Ashiya, Hyogo Prefecture. The panel discussion, moderated by DJW Managing Director Anne Pomsel, involved an exchange of opinions on the best ways for companies and educational institutions to benefit from the digital revolution and find innovative approaches.
