Scores attend alumni gathering held in Shanghai
Our alumni living and working in the Shanghai area were invited to attend the event “OMU Seminar in Shanghai” on December 8, 2024, at a hotel in the Chinese metropolis.
OMU Vice President Hiroyuki Sakuragi greeted the guests, then the Global Strategy Division delivered a presentation that highlighted the features and future vision of OMU since the merger of Osaka City University and Osaka Prefecture University. Information regarding OMU’s joint pavilion at the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan was also introduced.
This event was the first of its kind in China where representatives from the two former universities came together. More than 60 alumni and associates attended to reminisce with classmates and colleagues.
OMU hopes to further expand its overseas alumni network, using the university’s strength as a comprehensive educational institution.
