IPB University Rector Professor Arif Satria came from Indonesia to visit the Nakamozu Campus on January 21, 2025, with Professor Amzul Rifin, head of the Indonesian Embassy’s Education and Culture Section. They were welcomed by OMU Vice President Toshiyuki Matsui; Professor Makoto Matsubayashi from the Graduate School of Veterinary Medicine; Dr. Masami Nakazawa, a lecturer from the Graduate School of Agriculture; and Mr. Aditya Yudhana, a graduate student from Indonesia. There was a lively exchange of views on future academic exchange and the possibility of new joint research.
Last November, a delegation from OMU visited IPB University in Bogor, Indonesia, to deepen exchanges. The reciprocal visits are expected to strengthen collaboration between the two universities.
OMU has a strong relationship with educational and research institutions in Indonesia. Many joint projects and exchange activities have been conducted over the years. It is expected that the collaboration between the two universities will be further strengthened in the future, and the sharing of knowledge and technology will progress even further.
