A 40-member delegation from Thai partner university Prince of Songkla University (PSU) visited the Sugimoto Campus on January 24, 2025. The visitors included Dr. Ruchdee Binmad, Associate Dean of Academic and International Affairs, and other department members. OMU Vice President Toshiyuki Matsui, along with Graduate School of Business Associate Professors Yixuan Wang and Jieting Chen, welcomed them.

Vice President Matsui opened the meeting with an overview of the university, followed by Professor Chen’s explanation of the School of Business. From PSU, Department of Business Administration lecturer Immelman, Dr. Sangwichitr, Dr. Chaiyanupong, and Department of Public Administration Dr. Potipiroon gave presentations on their university and its international programs. Further expansion of exchanges between the two universities were also discussed. In closing, a campus tour was conducted, which included a visit to the statue of Tomoatsu Godai, the founder of OMU’s predecessor, the Osaka Commercial Training Institute, making it a meaningful time for all participants.
