【New publication】Development of an alcoholic sensors using MOF with colourimetric change upon adsorption of water and ethanol
We have succeeded in fabrication of transparent metal-organic framework (MOF) thin films, found that the color of the MOF can change upon adsorption of water and ethanol, and developed alcoholic sensors based on colourimetric change. The sensors could determine alcohol concentrations with full range by using a smartphone easily. Concentrations of commercial alcoholic beverages could be detected by the sensors and the sensors could be expected for various industries including industrial emissions testing and breath alcohol analysis.
