Up-and-coming young researchers from Japan and abroad who are active on the international stage were invited to Takahashi Lab, and laboratory tours and international seminars were held. Prof. Tarutani of Hiroshima University,Prof. Suzuki of Nagoya University,Dr.Mathilde Lairdof Kyoto University gave lectures. All lectures were given in English, and there were heated discussions not only among members of our laboratory, but also among graduate students and third-year undergraduate students from other laboratories. Prof. Tarutani and Prof. Suzuki and Prof.  Okada were classmates in the Takahashi Lab when they were students, and it was their first visit to our laboratory in a long time!
