2024年4月入学予定者を対象とした博士学生支援事業（仮称）学生を募集します。

＜事業の目的＞

国立研究開発法人科学技術振興機構（JST）は、博士後期課程・博士課程の学生に対する経済的支援と研究支援・キャリアパス形成支援等を目的として、2021年度より「大学フェローシップ創設事業」および「次世代研究者挑戦的研究事業」の博士後期課程・博士課程の学生支援事業を行ってきました。2024年度より両事業を一本化した新事業として学生支援事業を継承することが謳われています。

本学では、上記の両事業の主旨を継承し、これまでと同様の支援プログラムを提供する予定です。

なお、現時点で新事業の支援内容が公表されていないため、今回の公募は「大学フェローシップ創設事業」および「次世代研究者挑戦的研究事業」と同等の支援を前提としています。新事業が正式に確定した段階で、支援内容が変更される可能性があります。

＜出願資格＞  

2024年4月入学予定者として、大阪公立大学大学院博士後期課程（3年制）もしくは博士課程（4年制）の研究科に出願中または出願予定である者。

＜募集人員＞  

 40名

＜支援内容＞

• 奨励費（生活費相当額）：年間200万円(予定）
• 研究支援・キャリア形成支援：未定

　　　　　＊研究費および留学、学会発表、論文投稿などの費用の支援を予定。

　　　　　　年間20万円～90万円を想定。

• 支援期間　2024年4月1日～標準修了年限まで

　　　　　＊支援期間中に休学する場合は、その事由により支援打ち切りの可能性があります。

　　　　　　また、本選考に合格した者であっても支援対象外となる場合があります（詳しくは募集要項にて、ご確認願います）。

＜選考日程＞ 

■出願期間 ：   2023年7月14日（金）～7月24日（月） 12 時　（申請フォーム入力期限）  

　　　　　　  2023年7月14日（金）～7月24日（月） 15 時　（小論文・写真提出期限） 

 

■面接試験：　2023年7月31日（月）～8月18日（金）のいずれか 1 日 （オンライン）

 

■合格発表：　2023年9月15日（金） 

 

■選考方法：　小論文（100点）ならびに面接（100点）の採点結果に基づき評価します。 

※ 採点はルーブリック評価表の項目内容に沿って、実施されます。

〈Purpose of the Program〉 

The Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) has been conducting the "University Fellowship Founding Project" and "Support for Pioneering Research Initiated by the Next Generation" since FY2021 to provide financial support for doctoral students, as well as research support and career path formation support. It is stated that the student support program will be succeeded by a new program that unifies both programs from FY2024. The University plans to continue to provide the same support programs as in the past, inheriting the main objectives of the above two programs.

Since the details of the support for the new program have not been announced at this time, this call is based on the assumption that the support will be equivalent to the "University Fellowship Founding Project" and the "Support for Pioneering Research Initiated by the Next Generation". The details of the support may be subject to change once the new program is officially confirmed.

〈Application Eligibility 〉

Persons who plan to apply or have applied for a doctoral course (3-year or 4-year doctoral course) at the Graduate School of Osaka Metropolitan University (OMU) for admission in April 2024

〈Number of Students to be Accepted〉

 40 students.

〈Details of Support〉

Incentive (support for living expenses): 2,000,000 yen per year (tentative)

Research support and career development support: TBD
*Our current plan is to cover support for expenses for research activities, study abroad, conference presentations, and submission of papers. The amount of financial support is assumed to be 200,000-900,000 yen per year.

 Microsoft Forms submission: July 14 (Fri.) - July 24 (Mon.), 2023, 12:00 JST
 Submission of essay and face photo: July 14 (Fri.) - July 24 (Mon.), 2023, 12:00 15:00JST

 Interview（online):One day between Monday, July 31 and Friday, August 18, 2023
 Announcement of Acceptance:Friday, September 15, 2023.

〈Selection Method〉

Essay (100 points) and Interview (100 points)  

Evaluation (scoring) will be performed in accordance with the results of the essay and interview. Scoring will be based on the Rubric Evaluation Table.
