For both Spring and Fall 2026 enrollment, we plan to publish the student recruitment guidelines on the university's admissions information website in late April or early May 2025. Please note that Fall enrollment is available only for Special Selection for International Students, while General Selection is conducted only for Spring enrollment. Message

I am Ueda, the head of the Department of Artificial Intelligence in Medicine.
We are looking for colleagues who share our vision of "Implementing Global Health."

Our laboratory focuses on developing medical AI systems, conducting planetary health research using satellite data, and studying AI fairness.

We engage in a wide range of research, from developing medical AI systems to clarifying the relationship between environment and health.
For the Master's program, we welcome applicants from both medical and engineering backgrounds who are eager to take on new challenges. Programming knowledge is not required for those with medical backgrounds, and medical knowledge is not required for those with engineering backgrounds. What's important is your passion for academia and your ability to think and act independently.

For the Doctoral program, we also value expertise and motivation for international research. In our laboratory, you can develop various skills while advancing your research based on individual meetings.

You can engage in practical research utilizing over 3 million real-world data records and the latest research environment.
