Graduate School of Medicine holds the fourth International Students and Researchers Exchange Meeting

On June 26, 2024, the Graduate School of Medicine hosted the fourth exchange meeting between international students and young researchers at the Abeno Campus.
The well-attended seminar, moderated by Professor Hisashi Motomura, began with opening remarks from Professor Daisuke Tsuruta, the Dean of the Graduate School of Medicine.
The seminar kicked off with four presentations by international students from the Democratic Republic of Congo and China. They shared insights into their research, along with details about their hobbies and experiences adjusting to life in Japan.

Following this, Miki Watanabe, a Junior Residents at the Dermatology department, and, Omondi Protus Okwato a fourth-year PhD student in the Virology department, presented their research.
All presentations were lively, leading to an engaging question and answer session where the questions spanned from medical inquiries to cultural aspects, facilitating valuable information exchange among Japanese students, international students, faculty members, and other researchers.
The event concluded with remarks from Professor Norifumi Kawada.
