On February 23rd, 2024, we held a signing ceremony for a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) regarding academic cooperation. OCAMI (Osaka Central Advanced Mathematical Institute) signed two MoUs:one, with KUMD（Department of Mathematics, University of Korea), and another with IMAG (Institute of Mathematics, University of Granada). KUMD is a mathematics department located at the University of Korea in South Korea, and IMAG is a mathematics research institute located at the University of Granada in Spain. These agreements open the door to opportunities for staff and student exchange, joint research, and sharing of academic information.

The signing ceremony was held on the occasion of the international conference "The 4th International Conference on Surfaces, Analysis, and Numerics in Differential Geometry," which took place at Rexxam Hall in Takamatsu, Kagawa Prefecture, from February 19th (Mon.) to 23rd (Fri.), 2024. This conference is part of Joint Usage/Research Projects of OCAMI. Professor Hiroshi Tamaru (Director of OCAMI), Professor Emeritus Yoshihiro Ohnita (former director of OCAMI), Professor Seong-Deog Yang (KUMD), Professor Joaquin Perez (former director of IMAG), and Professor Antonio Ros (first director of IMAG) attended the conference and the ceremony.
