On Wednesday, May 15, 2024, a delegation of 16 members from the Institute of Mathematics, Viet Nam Academy of Science and Technology (IMVAST) visited Japan, and participated in the 2024 International Joint Research "IMVAST-OCAMI Joint Conference on Selected Areas in Mathematics," organized by OCAMI. As part of this event, IMVAST and OCAMI signed an academic exchange agreement, with the cooperation of the Research Promotion Division, the Global Strategy Division, and the Public Relations Division.

The signing ceremony was attended by Doan Trung Cuong, Deputy Director of IMVAST; Professors Dinh Nho Hao and Le Tuan Hoa; Hiroshi Tamaru, Director of OCAMI; and Deputy Directors Masato Okado and Hideyuki Ishi. At the beginning of the ceremony, Deputy Director Doan Trung Cuong and Director Tamaru gave speeches as representatives, followed by the signing of the agreement, an exchange of opinions, and the presentation of commemorative gifts.

The signing of this academic exchange agreement follows the previous agreement signed between our university and the Viet Nam Academy of Science and Technology in September 2023. This new agreement will promote various educational and research exchanges between IMVAST and OCAMI.
