The 2022 Research Center for Artificial Photosynthesis Activity Report Meeting was held.

The 2022 Annual Report Meeting of the Research Center for Artificial Photosynthesis, Osaka Metropolitan University, has come to a successful close. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all participants.

We are delighted to announce the recipients of the Student Activity Award and the Student Presentation Award.

The 2022 Research Center for Artificial Photosynthesis Student Activity Award

Yu Kita (Graduate School of Science, Department of Materials and Molecular Science, Master's Program 2nd year)

I am deeply honored to have received the Student Activity Award. This award is a wonderful culmination of my efforts as a doctoral student. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Professor Amao for his invaluable guidance throughout my research. I am also grateful to Associate Professor Fujii for her guidance on cell culture, and to all the members of the Amao Laboratory for their collaboration. I will strive to make further contributions as a researcher in industry starting from April.

Mika Takeuchi (Graduate School of Science, Department of Chemistry, Master's Program 1st year)

I am deeply honored to receive the Student Presentation Award. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Professor Amao and all the others who have supported me. Last year, I successfully synthesized plastic raw materials from carbon dioxide using visible light as a driving force, building upon my graduation research. I am delighted that my presentation on this research was recognized. I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to the organizers and judges of this conference. While there is still room for improvement in my research, I will continue to strive for excellence in my research endeavors, inspired by this award.

Soichiro Seki (Graduate School of Science, Department of Materials and Molecular Science, Doctoral Program 2nd year)

I am truly honored to have received the presentation award at the Artificial Photosynthesis Research Center. The research I presented today began during my fourth year of undergraduate studies and has been ongoing for three to four years. Throughout this research, I have received invaluable support from Associate Professor Fujii and many other collaborators. Through many ups and downs, I was able to complete this research and publish a paper last winter. I am thrilled that I was able to present this research that I am so passionate about, and even more delighted that it was recognized by the professors at the Artificial Photosynthesis Research Center. With this encouragement, I will strive to achieve even greater results in my future research.
