The 2022 Research Center for Artificial Photosynthesis Activity Report Meeting was held

The 2022 Osaka Metropolitan University Research Center for Artificial Photosynthesis Activity Report Meeting has ended. Thank you for your participation.
The following people have been selected for the Student Activity Award, Activity Report Meeting, and Student Lecture Award. Congratulations.

The 2022 Research Center for Artificial Photosynthesis Student Activity Award

Yu Kita (Graduate School of Science, Department of Materials and Molecular Science, Master's Program 2nd year)

Thank you very much for being selected for the Student Activity Award. I am very pleased to have received this award as the culmination of my doctoral program. We would not have been able to achieve this research without the cooperation of Professor Amao, who has been our mentor so far, Associate Professor Fujii, who has given us guidance on culture work, and the people of the Amao Laboratory, with whom we have worked our research activities. I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude. From April, I will continue to push forward so that I can play an active role as a researcher at a company.

The 2022 Research Center for Artificial Photosynthesis Student Presentation Award

(Platinum Award)
Mika Takeuchi (Graduate School of Science, Department of Chemistry, Master's Program 1st year)

Thank you very much for being selected for the Student Presentation Award. I would like to express my gratitude to Professor Amao for his guidance on a daily basis, as well as many other people who have supported me. Last year, with the goal of advancing the results of my graduation research, I was able to achieve the synthesis of plastic raw materials from carbon dioxide, a causative substance of global warming, using visible light as a driving force. I am very pleased that this announcement has been highly evaluated. Last but not least, I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the professors who were in charge of organizing and selecting this meeting. There are still some issues that need to be improved in terms of research content, so I will continue to do my best to pursue my research activities with the encouragement of this award.

(Gold Award)
Soichiro Seki (Graduate School of Science, Department of Materials and Molecular Science, Doctoral Program 2nd year)

I am very honored to receive the presentation award at the Research Center for Artificial Photosynthesis Report Meeting. The content of this presentation is a research that has been conducted over 3~4 years, starting when I was a fourth-year undergraduate student when I joined the laboratory. Through this research, I received support not only from my faculty member, Prof. Fujii, but also from many other collaborators. In the midst of all this, I continued to do so, and as a result, it took shape as a thesis last winter. I was delighted to be able to present this research that I was passionate about, and I am very happy that it was also appreciated by the professors at the Artificial Photosynthesis Research Center. With this as encouragement, I will devote myself every day to achieving even greater results in the future.

(Gold Award)
Yusuke Seki (Graduate School of Engineering, Department of Materials Chemistry and Life Sciences, Doctoral Program 1st year)

I am very honored to receive this Student Presentation Award. In accepting this award, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the teachers who have guided and taught me. I would also like to express my deepest gratitude to my classmates and juniors who have supported me in my daily research activities. As a researcher, I still have a lot of immaturity, but I will continue to work on my research with the aim of further growth and research results. We look forward to your continued guidance and support.
