A paper by Prof. Yutaka Amao et al. was featured on the cover of "Sustainable Energy & Fuels"

Research group paper by Professor Yutaka Amao et al. entitled "Colloidal platinum nanoparticles dispersed by polyvinylpyrrolidone and poly(diallyldimethylammonium chloride) with high catalytic activity for hydrogen production based on formate decomposition" appeared on the cover of the Royal Society of Chemistry's Sustainable Energy & Fuels magazine.

In this research, we succeeded in dramatically improving the efficiency of hydrogen production from formic acid by using platinum particles functionalized by cationic polymers. The design of the cover is based on the image of hydrogen and carbon dioxide being released when formic acid is ignited, using platinum particles functionalized by cationic polymers as fireworks seeds.
