Associate Professor Daisuke Kosumi (Kumamoto University), who was a member of the Department of Physics, Faculty of Science, Osaka City University (Osaka City University) from 2008 to 2015, will give a lecture on the latest research results on the mechanism of solar power utilization in natural photosynthesis. After introducing himself, he gave a thorough explanation of the importance of light collection in photosynthesis, and gave an easy-to-understand presentation on the latest research results using ultrafast spectroscopy. There were about 10 participants, but it was a very interesting talk and a lively discussion took place.
