On Monday, December 11, 2023, 22 students from Nara Prefectural Nara Kita High School visited the Research Center for Artificial Photosynthesis at Osaka Metropolitan University with the aim of learning about sustainable next-generation energy.

After a tour of Osaka Metropolitan University and a lecture by Professor Yutaka Amao, the center director, on "The Potential of Artificial Photosynthesis for Carbon Neutrality," the students learned about the latest research and SDGs, sustainable energy supply. Subsequently, they visited the research laboratory of the Biocatalysis Research Division to observe various experimental equipment and the research environment.
