On Monday, December 11, 2023, 22 students from Nara Kita High School visited the Research Center for Artificial Photosynthesis with the aim of "Let's learn about sustainable next-generation energy at Osaka Metropolitan University!"

After an explanation of Osaka Metropolitan University and a walk around the university, the students listened to a lecture by Professor Yutaka Amao, the director of the center, on "The Potential of Artificial Photosynthesis Technology for Carbon Neutrality," and learned about the SDGs and sustainable energy supply by touching cutting-edge research. After that, they visited the laboratory of the Biocatalyst Research Division, where they visited various experimental equipment and research sites.
