The award is presented to female researchers, technical developers, or business leaders who have made outstanding contributions to analytical chemistry, regardless of their membership in this society.
Each year, a notice inviting nominations for the award is published in the July issue of "Bunseki".
Nominees are reviewed by the board of directors and, upon approval, are honored at the annual meeting.
