The Faculty Activity Awards (General Award) are presented to faculty members with outstanding achievements to recognize their efforts and enhance their motivation.

Professor Yutaka Amao (Director, Research Center for Artificial Photosynthesis) was awarded in the research category of the Faculty Activity Awards, which recognizes contributions in five areas: education, research, mentoring of junior faculty, presidential priorities, and other university operations. At the award ceremony, the president presented him with a certificate and delivered a congratulatory speech.
