2024年度に設置された理学国際教育研究センターは、理学の教育研究の国際化を推進する新拠点です。主に外国人等の専任教員と海外からの研究短期招聘教員が在籍し、理学研究科の教員と緊密に連携しつつ英語での研究セミナー、講義、第一線の研究活動を通した学生の鍛錬、国内外の教育研究機関との共同研究の推進などにとりくみます。

The International Research and Education Center (IREC) of the Graduate School of Science at Osaka Metropolitan University was launched in April 2024. IREC mainly consists of foreign faculty members and visiting professors who collaborate with faculty members of the Graduate School of Science to further develop research and education in science at OMU. Members of IREC provide classes and seminars in English. They also conduct collaborative research with scientists from foreign and domestic universities. Graduate and undergraduate students can conduct research under the guidance of IREC faculty members.
