　　SAR remote sensing for measuring land deformation

講演内容

Applying Radar imagery to determine land surface deformation is a crucial approach in geological research and resource management. Radar imaging techniques, particularly Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (InSAR), have been extensively utilized to monitor and analyze surface deformations. Additionally, the method of using Radar intensity images is employed to monitor large-scale changes.

In this lecture, I will introduce the application of InSAR Interferometric Radar images in detecting ground deformations such as subsidence, landslides, and the impacts of earthquakes. Furthermore, I will discuss the use of Radar intensity imagery for quickly identifying new landslides or significant terrain changes by comparing images taken before and after the deformation event.
