Welcome to PCEM!
Welcome to the International Workshop on Physics and Chemistry of Electronic Materials to be held at Osaka Metropolitan University.
This workshop aims to provide a forum for interesting and current topics in condensed matter science, focusing on interdisciplinary aspects from physics and chemistry, with electronic properties of materials being a key interweaving topic. We hope participants will take advantage of this opportunity to exchange ideas on interdisciplinary discoveries in materials science and to promote in-depth discussions on these topics.
Osaka Metropolitan University was born on April 1 of this year through the merger of Osaka Prefecture University and Osaka City University. The process of scientific discovery is a search for truth that aims to expand the frontiers of human knowledge and pass on ideas from the natural sciences that have supported humankind through the generations. It is a great pleasure for us to hold this international workshop on this memorable year of the start of the new graduate school of science and the new university.
The workshop will be held in a hybrid format over two days and will consist of keynote and invited talks by outstanding researchers from Japan and abroad. Many of the participants are active researchers in the broad community of condensed matter chemistry, physics, and materials science.
