Innovation Working Group
Purpose of the Innovation WG
The project takes a broad view of the University's research results, such as decarbonization technologies that contribute to the realization of carbon neutrality, and identifies the originality of each R&D technology and the strengths of the University.
Based on the results of these activities, the Center aims to create a mechanism to accelerate industry-academia-government collaborative joint research and social implementation.
Examples of Activities
The Innovation WG holds lectures on the University's research related to carbon neutrality. It also conducts activities such as introducing examples of the University's research related to the Osaka Expo. In addition, it is actively exchanging information on carbon neutrality by promoting surveys on research support systems and subsidies from Osaka Prefecture and Osaka City.
As for activities with other WGs, Innovation WG works closely with the Zero Carbon Campus WG by holding joint meetings. Activities are underway to apply the University's research findings on carbon neutrality and industry-academia-government collaboration to buildings and facilities to be constructed on the Morinomiya, Sugimoto, and Nakamozu campuses.
