Introduction of V-Kamen Activity
Here, we introduce the main activities related to V-station's mascot character, Victory Kamen (V-Kamen).
Appearance of V Kamen
V-Kamen may appear at each event. He tries to liven up the event by actually touching and taking commemorative photos.
Provision and sale of goods
Goods imitating V-Kamen may be created and offered or sold at events. A portion of the proceeds from sales are donated.
V-Kamen-yaki
A baked confection made to imitate V-Kamen. Like taiyaki, it is baked using a plate (mold).
Dough is made from mixed flour, and by wrapping red bean paste and custard inside, it is finished as a delicious sweet.
In addition, it may be made using ingredients harvested in familiar places. At the Shirasagi Festival held in November 2016, we sold a limited edition “Imo-an flavor” using red sweet potatoes grown at the Educational Research Field (farm) attached to the School of Human Life and Ecology.
V-Kamen-yaki is mainly served at events where many people gather, such as school festivals and open campuses.
The mold used for V-kamen-yaki was manufactured at the Nakamozu Campus A8 Building Engineering Production Technology Center.
Character Goods
We also sell character goods featuring V-Kamen. In October 2016, we produced V-Kamen notepads and acrylic key chains and sold them at Apricot Festival.

volunteer teacher
Volunteer teacher is a project to raise awareness of the attractiveness of volunteering by having students give lectures in the form of special classes at elementary, junior high and high schools. V-Kamen also participates in these activities, so that children, especially those in the lower grades, can learn while having fun.

V-Kamen reading notebook donation
In 2020, the former Prefectural University created reading notebooks using V-Kamen as illustrations, and donated 112 books to those who wanted them. In response to the fact that children are spending more time at home due to the corona crisis, this project was carried out with the aim of making children familiar with books by allowing them to enjoy reading while interacting with their parents. Each page has a face illustration of a V-Kamen, and is devised so that even small children can get close to it.
