藤枝 伸宇/Nobutaka Fujieda
略歴/Curriculum vitae
Nobutaka Fujieda was born in 1978. He received his Ph.D. from Kyoto University in 2006 under the supervision of Prof. Kenji Kano. In 2005-2006, he was a research fellow of the Japan Society for Promotion of Science (JSPS). He then joined Kyoto University Pioneering Research Unit for Next Generation as a Designated Assistant Professor (2006-2009) and moved to Graduate School of Engineering, Osaka University as an Assistant Professor (2009-2017). During that period, he concurrently held a Guest Professor at Department of Chemistry, University of Basel working with Prof. Thomas R. Ward (2013-2014). He promoted to an Associate Professor at Graduate School of Life and Environmental Sciences, Osaka Prefecture University (2017-2021) and a Full Professor at Graduate School of Agriculture, Osaka Metropolitan University (2021-present). His scientific interest is focused on shedding light on the true nature of “enzyme”. Now, he is into the exploitation of proteins and peptides as foldamer ligands with application in biotechnology including biocatalysis.
