What is Veterinary Internal Medicine?

It is a field of study that studies the etiology, symptoms, diagnostic methods, treatments, and prevention methods of internal diseases, and is characterized by treating living organisms at the individual level. Within this broad field, research is particularly focused on infectious diseases. In addition, all staff members of the Veterinary Internal Medicine Research Group also serve as medical staff at the Veterinary Clinical Center attached to the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, and while working on clinical duties, they also conduct clinical veterinary research using clinical materials. Except during lectures and practical training, students and graduate students who belong to the group work as assistant staff in clinical practice at the center, experiencing the clinical field through case studies and acquiring diagnostic and treatment techniques.
