講演内容
Oxidative stress is a major driver of cellular dysfunction in ageing and disease. While Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS) have been linked to oxidative stress, this seminar will focus on cellular oxidation by Reactive Sulfur Species (RSS), such as persulfides and polysulfides, as major contributors to cellular oxidative stress. Here the chemical biology of RSS will be discussed and their chemical and cellular properties and their potential role in health and disease.
