Research Interests
We study on protein ubiquitination in health and diseases.
Our research interests are:
・Cellular and physiological roles of linear ubiquitination-mediated NF-κB activation
・TNF-α- and ROS-induced cell death pathways
・Development of inhibitors for linear ubiquitin code
・Functional analysis of deubiquitinating enzymes
・Functional and structural analyses of ubiquitin-binding proteins
・Protein ubiquitination and aggregation in neurodegenerative diseases such as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and Alzheimer’s disease
・Regulators in innate and acquired immune responses and their related diseases
